Le travail photographique d’Uwe Bedenbecker (né en 1965 à Essen) se concentre sur la
documentation de la relation entre l’être humain et la nature dans différentes cultures de notre monde. monde. Il photographie principalement dans les villes et sur les îles, deux lieux où civilisation et nature se rencontrent dans un espace restreint. Dans le nouveau corpus d’œuvres "NATURE OR NOT", il aborde la question de l’artificialité comme partie intégrante de cette tension.
Uwe Bedenbecker a publié à ce jour six ouvrages en maison d’édition :

Il expose en Allemagne et à l’étranger. Ses œuvres ont ainsi été montrées à deux reprises à l’atelier cinq pendant les Rencontres d’Arles. Plus récemment, il a présenté les travaux du zine "NATURE OR NOT" dans l’exposition collective « human_nature » au Kunstquartier Bethanien à Berlin.
The focus of Uwe Bedenbecker’s photographic work (born in 1965 in Essen) is the documentation of the relationship between people and nature in different cultures around the world. He mainly photographs in cities and on islands, both of which are places where civilization and nature encounter each other within a confined space. In his new body of work “NATURE OR NOT”, he addresses artificiality as a component of this tension.
To date, Uwe Bedenbecker has published six works with publishers:

He exhibits both in Germany and abroad. His works have already been shown twice at l'atelier cinq during the Rencontres in Arles. Most recently, he presented the works from the zine “NATURE OR NOT"in the group exhibition “human_nature” at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin.
